Plastic Demolding Wedges

Smaller sized plastic demolding wedges are used for the releasing/demolding of smaller parts or thinner laminates. Compared with the chunky demolding wedges used in the more traditional composites industry, these small, thin edged wedges are much more suitable for the careful releasing of thinner laminates and can be used severally around the edge of a mold to facilitate release.
Available in small and medium size, sold individually.

These demolding wedges feature a very sharp leading edge allowing them to easily pry under any molding and the low friction polymer provides an easy drive-in whilst minimising the risk of damage to your molds or components. It is common practice to use multiple wedges around the perimeter of a particularly stubborn molding as it will provide an even pressure and require less force than a single lever.
