By accepting our Terms & Conditions of Sale (required when placing an order through this site) you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including terms and conditions provided separately on our Returns & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy pages.

Importing Products into the USA

This ‘USA’ website is provided for the convenience of customers based in the United States but it is operated by Easy Composites Ltd in the United Kingdom and all orders ship direct from the UK. Although all duties and taxes are paid by us, with nothing more to pay, it is important to understand that by ordering from this website, you are importing products from the UK.

Customs Clearance & Charges

All orders placed on easycomposites.us will be shipped to USA customers ‘duty paid’ which means there will be no taxes, duties or customs charges to pay. Easy Composites will also act as the ‘Importer of Record’, meaning that we handle the customs clearance for you.

However, on rare occasions, US Customs & Border Force may require information about the end-user or recipient. If this is the case, we'll contact you and work with you to provide the information they're requesting. In the event this happens, to avoid delays, it is very important that you respond and provide this information promptly. Easy Composites Ltd will not be responsible for delays, or charges relating to the return or disposal of merchandise that cannot be delivered because you have not responded to contact from ourselves or US Border Force or the delivery company (FedEx/UPS/TNT etc.).

Perishable Items

Some materials (such as ‘prepreg’ reinforcements) sold on this website are perishable and should only be out of frozen storage for a limited period of time. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that perishable items will be delivered in excellent condition, if you choose to order perishable items from Easy Composites, you do so entirely at your own risk. Restricted Products

Chemical Products and ‘Professional Use’ Products

Many of the products sold on this website are chemical products intended for commercial, industrial or professional use. This means they may be hazardous to health or potentially dangerous if used incorrectly or by inexperienced users. They may also require skill, experience or experimentation to get optimum results.

Before using any of our products, users must familiarise themselves with the relevant technical (TDS) and safety (SDS) datasheets which can be downloaded from the relevant product pages or by contacting us.

Products are sold upon condition that purchasers will make their own tests to determine the quality, suitability and compatibility of any product for their particular application and circumstances. Our technical data and advice, whether verbal or in writing, is given in good faith but without warranty - express or implied.

Easy Composites Ltd shall be in no way responsible for the proper use and service of the product, nor for the safeguarding of personnel or property, all of which is the duty of the user. Any information or suggestions are without warranty of any kind and purchasers are solely responsible for any loss arising from the use of such information or suggestions.

Military Use and UAV Applications

By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you are NOT purchasing materials for military, space or UAV end-use applications. If you do wish to purchase materials for end-use in UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) then please contact us prior to ordering in order to complete a MAS (material application statement).

Export Control - Licensable Products

Some products sold on the Easy Composites website require an export licence to be exported to the USA which will be clearly shown on the product page. If you purchase one of these products then we will contact you for further information in order to complete the licence application process.

With respect to export control, the delivery address of your order is considered to be the 'End-User' address. If you intend to forward some or all of your order on to an address outside of the US then you must make us aware of the address of the ultimate 'End-User' at the time of ordering. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your order.

In some situations, export restrictions can still apply to products not specifically on export control lists. For this reason, even if your order does not contain products which are shown to need an export licence, you must still ensure that the delivery address is the address is the 'End-User' and not forward goods on without contacting us first.

Payment and Order Processing

If you place an order on this website and choose to pay by credit/debit card, payment will be taken immediately at the time of ordering. If all items on your order are in stock at the time of ordering then the order will be processed on the same, or following working day. If any items on your order are out of stock at the time of ordering then your order will be held until all items are in stock and the order can be shipped complete.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute you have which relates to these terms and conditions, or your use of the easycomposites.us website (whether it be contractual or non-contractual), will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
