This Perma-Grit round file is ideal for opening up round apertures in composite sheet, such as carbon fiber (CFRP) and fiberglass (FRP/GRP) but also a wide variety of other materials.
Like all tools in the Perma-Grit range it is manufactured with a super hard-wearing tungsten carbide abrasive surface which cuts superbly through composite materials without clogging or blunting and will leave an excellent finish.
This is the larger of the two sizes of needle file available, being 180mm (7.1") in length and so suitable for larger workshop tasks/professional use.
This round file for composites features a 5mm (0.2") diameter shaft with a cutting diameter of 5.5mm (0.22") at the widest point.
This Set is approximately equivalent to 220 Grit sandpaper.
