Specially formulated UV protective finishing polish from Italian polishing experts Pai Cristal, Easy Gloss is recommended for polishing and protecting bare carbon fiber parts. Its super-fine cutting action restores finish whilst its nano-waxes provide valuable protection from UV light and water and leave a showroom shine.

Whether you're a carbon fiber manufacturer adding final finish to production carbon fiber parts or an owner wanting to restore and protect your own carbon fiber parts, EASYGLOSS is the only nano finishing polish with protective waxes and additives designed specifically for carbon fiber and dark-colored composite parts.
This special 'carbon line' version of EASYGLOSS is black in color, deepening the contrast and lustre of your carbon fiber parts without ever revealing 'white spots', caused when light colored polished and waxes accumulate in tiny surface pin-holes on carbon fiber parts.
EASYGLOSS is the only carbon fiber polish with an ultra light cutting action combined with advanced waxes and additives that will protect carbon fiber parts from UV rays, natural elements, salt and water. Its advanced polymer technology allows the protective agents to adhere to the polished surface providing a lasting, water repellent, protective film along with an incredibly radiant gloss.

EASYGLOSS will polish and protect carbon fiber and other composite parts quickly and easy. It can be applied using a power polisher or even by hand.
For the fastest, best results - use a power polisher. Pour a small quantity of the polish onto a soft wavy foam polishing pad, starting with the polisher on a low speed and spreading the polish over the surface of the part in a criss-crossed pattern. Gradually increase the speed of the polisher to 800 - 1500 RPM, being careful not to allow heat to build up on the surface of the part.
Once the EASYGLOSS has been applied across the whole surface of the part and polished using a light polishing action, let the surface dry completely before buffing off using a clean microfiber polishing cloth.

Yes, in fact this is really what this polish is designed for. Although the layer of resin on un-gelcoated parts is very thin; the cutting action of this polish is incredibly fine light polishing of the surface on manufacture and occasionally during its service life to restore shine, should not cause any problems with exposing the fibres themselves.
It is unlikely to cause any hazard doing so, but, with the heat of the exhaust, the additional waxes left behind would likely burn off very quickly. A normal polish such as our TopFinish 2 would be more suitable as long as you clean any residue off before use.
This product is designed for final finishing to the highest of gloss. Generally surface fading is in the surface layer of resin. In the worst cases it may need sanding off before polishing with a compound such as our NW1 Super Cutting Compound Black. Lighter damage will likely be restored using our TOPFINISH 2 Black Nano Polishing Compound. You can then use the EASYGLOSS to give it that final finishing touch with the addition of protective waxes to help with long term durability should you want to.
For a carbon fibre item that is matte or satin finish either from a lacquer or gel-coat, we would recommend our NW1 Super Cutting Compound Black which has the ability to go from 1200 grit all the way to a full gloss finish, so is better suited to items that are fully matte. EASYGLOSS has an ultra light cutting action so is better suited to finishing to a very high gloss that already have a reasonable shine to them. If the part has a matte finish from sanding bust does not have a lacquer or clear-coat it may be necessary to spray a clear-coat as a polishing compound will never achieve a full gloss if the fibre is exposed.
