Popular in wind-energy and aerospace industries this premium quality middleweight 375gsm (11.06oz/yd²) carbon fiber cloth is woven in a 'satin weave' for excellent drape using a high strength fiber resulting in a smooth finish with minimum print-through.

This fabric is a premium quality 375gsm (11.1oz/yd²) 5 Harness Satin weave carbon fiber fabric woven using high strength 6K carbon fibers.
The combination of a medium weight 6k tow and the 5 harness satin weave result is a very smooth fabric with a very close/dense weave pattern. Such fabrics are very easy to handle and show almost no 'gaps'. The 5 harness weave provides extremely good drape and a very smooth surface finish. Woven using a high strength fiber, this high quality fabric is ideal for backing plies on structural components or where a good level of surface smoothness and drapeability is needed. Also the unbalanced lay up is ideal when you need extra strength in one orientation.

This 375gsm (11.1oz) carbon fiber cloth roll is 1.25m (49") wide and the fabric is sold by the linear meter (1 meter = 1.09 yards). The unit price shown is for 1 linear meter but volume discounts automatically apply for larger quantities of fabric.
